FAQ's

1.What happens if we have an issue that delays our transport pickup or delivery?

Answer- You can call the transport company with the provided information and reschedule or we can repost your shipment on the national load boards and send another truck for you. We do not charge an additional service fee to relist your transport.

2.What if I need expedited service or a special requirement met within my transport?

Answer- It�s very simple. You can let one of our customer service agents know your requirements and we can provide an updated price based on your needs.

3.How long does it take to transport my vehicle?

Answer- The transport time will depend on where you are traveling too. It generally takes from 1-7 days to get a truck out to you. Once your vehicle is loaded up on the transporter it generally takes 5-9 days to travel from coast to coast respectively. Shorter moves are done in generally half the time. These times are based on current Department of Transportation, �D.O.T� restrictions for maximum allowable driving hours permitted in any 24hr period per driver.

4.How does payment work?

Answer- We will send you your detailed quote first. Once you decide to allow us book your order we will charge your credit card a scheduling fee. The balance is paid directly to your driver after the delivery is completed. Remember, your deposit is always refundable with Triple A Auto. We ask that you cancel your order with us prior to our scheduling department locating and dispatching the driver to your location. This will incur a fee for the drivers time and effort.

5.What kind of payments do the transporters accept?

Answer- Normally, the standard method of payment is cash, cashiers checks or money orders.

6.Can I charge the entire amount on my credit card?

Answer- We can provide that service for our clients without a question. The service covers charging the customers credit card, paying the merchants fees, as well as sending the payment over night to the driver.

7.Will my transport be insured?

Answer- Yes, all of our carriers are licensed and bonded with the D.O.T. The carriers will have two types of valid insurance.

A. Cargo Insurance- This is the insurance that most resembles your standard auto coverage. Its usually from 50-100k dollars in coverage per vehicle on the truck. Think of this as your scratch and dent insurance.

B. Liability Insurance- This is usually up to 1 million dollars in coverage for the total contents of the truck. It will vary based on the trucks capacity. Think of this as your insurance for driver error or truck accident insurance.

 

8.What kind of vehicles can I ship?

Answer- We can ship cars, trucks, sport utility vehicles basically anything with wheels.

9.I have additional questions about the transport process, what can I do?

Answer- Contact our customer service department. We can converse through email, phone and live chat. We have customer service representatives standing by to respond to your inquiries from 9-5pm Monday through Saturday eastern standard time. We normally respond to all inquires by email or live chat during normal business hours in 5 to 10 minutes.
